May 7, 2009: Damon Dash, listed as one of Gotham magazine's hottest bachelor's celebrated his 38th birthday in Brooklyn with a champagne toast in honor of his new record label, Bluroc Records, "Another piece of the Roc" he described it.

Dash who's life story was featured on VH-1s hit series "Driven" is most well known as a record executive who discovered and managed Jay-Z (who's sales are now topping Elvis. Dash also had his own reality shot, "The Ultimate Hustler." He  takes credit for discovering Kanye West as well. Dash,Jay-Z and Kareem "Biggs" Burke founders of Roc-A-Fella Records had smashing success which lead them to other lucrative businesses such as Rocawear clothing and even Roc-A-Fella Films (which turned to Dash Films). Dash's stake in the clothing company was reportedly sold  for 22 million dollar and his stake in record company 10 million after a fallout with his artist, Jay-Z occured, leaving fans wondering what caused the break up. Rumors floating but nothing substantiated.

Dash had steered low of the music industry for some time and is now making  a comeback. Despite all his accomplishments, he is known for being arrogant and cocky, and rightfully so at only 38 he has accomplished far more at his age than most coming out of Harlem or any of the world for that matter.

Just a few of the attendees of Dash's party below were: Supermodel Chanel Iman, Fashion designer Erin Fetherston and entertainer Heather Hunter
